Further after COP 15 protests info event

The UN Climate summit - is over. The utterly substanceless Copenhagen
Accord showed once again the bankruptcy of elite
decision-making and the opportunistic and dangerous rise of
'green'capitalism. The most hopeful thing to come from Copenhagen was
the rise of an international climate movement willing to organize
confrontational actions and demanding system change. Thousands of
activists from all over the planet took action on the streets of
Copenhagen.

In a time of increased movement-building around climate justice it is
crucial to strenghten this movement based on open direct action and a
demand for system change. To establish radical momentum to confront
climate chaos caused by capitalism, and to further our everyday
struggles on a local level

Therefore, we call for a meeting to discuss the issues and challenges
of Netherlands-based climate movements; to share inspiration for
action; and determine our position relating to the international
grassroots networks that grew out of the Copenhagen summit
mobilisation.
